Role Description
Mphasis is seekingGCP Technical Specialist (Infrastructure)who is a Cloud SME contributing to different phases of the implementation and service operation lifecycle. This role will be involved in service operations, improvements, advice; work on the problems and contribute to the solution development. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Customer team, 28333899
Engineers and Subject Matter Experts. The GCP Technical Specialist needs to maintain best practices and collaborates with the Client architecture and application teams to set the technical vision and target architecture.
Must Have Skills:
Experience in Google Cloud Platform, Minimum 1 Professional certification inGCP and Terraforms
Good to Have Skills:
Experience in Azure, AWS & Private clouds.
Job Requirements:
6-10 years of experience in Information Technology (in the areas of Public & Private clouds).
At least 4 years of experience in GCP Cloud administration, consultation & maintenance.
At least 4 years of experience in Unix/Linux platform, command line and shell scripting.
Experience in Infrastructure services - GCP IaaS Services & GCP Products or related cloud platforms.
Experience in Troubleshooting and supporting GCP Infrastructure services - GCP Compute, Network, Storage, Security, IAM, Kubernetes Engine and other Infra components and other environment build.
Basic understanding in any standard webserver and related framework.
Basic understanding on Networking and trouble shooting.
Implement operational automation using scripts.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Ability to creates, Contributes, and Implements to best practices of Operation
Hands-on experience on assessment of environment
Detailed expertise in common infra. Activities (i.e. Patch Mgt., Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments etc.)
Knowledge and understanding of global security policies.
Coordinate deployment of network security infrastructure with other members of IT organization.
Preferred Qualifications
B. E / B. Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications computer science or equivalent degree in IT related field.
Work experience in GCP IaaS Services & GCP Products
GCP Certification - Associate Cloud Engineer/Professional Cloud Architect
Customer interfacing skills.
Good presentation and communication skill.
Leadership skill: Team handling skills.
