Job Description
Key responsibilities
Build, test and deploy SAP Analytic solutions based on the design from the solution architects and at the same time be able to progress into detailed design for a successful implementation and transition to application support team
Create Information Solutions by using standardized procedures for design, development, and delivery
Analyse, identify, and document user requirements for new or enhanced analytic applications and information solutions
Develop data models, and technical specifications that meet users requirements and conform to companys information architecture
Enable consumption of reporting and analytics solutions in front-end reporting tools like SAP Analytics for Cloud, Fiori, Analysis for Office & Business objects reporting tools
Conduct testing and quality assurance activities for solutions developed
Ensure built BW4/HANA objects are efficient, sustainable, scalable, and simple
Develop Planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud/BCS/IP/BPC
Be highly motivated, hardworking and possess good time management and communication skills
Knowledge and experience of delivering projects in an Agile framework
Pro-actively analyses current processes and practices, suggesting and driving improvements to the promotional model
Is results oriented and has a high degree of accountability, commitment, and responsibility
We are looking for
4-7 years of core development experience inclusive of SAP Business Warehouse and Analytics
Ability to build SAP BW/4HANA and SAP BW solutions, including data modelling using LSA/LSA++ methodologies, extract-transformation-load (ETL) processes, BW query creation, Composite providers, Advanced DSOs and using BW objects exposed as HANA views
Experience and ability in HANA native SQL coding development and analysis
Experience in HANA & BW related ABAP /AMDP coding (User Exits and Transformations)
Experience in front-end reporting tools like SAP Analytics for Cloud, Fiori, Analysis for Office & Business objects reporting tools
Experience in developing planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud/BCS/IP/BPC
Knowledge of SAP Data Intelligence is a plus
Knowledge of S/4HANA Embedded Analytics is preferred
Ability to work with teams, to influence, to co-operate, to collaborate are essential key skills to get teams working at outstanding levels
Strong communication skills across all levels
Self-Management is a key attribute expected for this role. Being able to work without the need for follow up or too much management is important.
Self-motivated and self-starter once work assigned results are guaranteed almost always.
Demonstrated effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Is results oriented and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility.
Bachelor or masters degree or equal by experience
SAP certifications in analytics area is preferred
