Secondary Skill: Python, Apache Pyspark and Azure Databricks
Job Summary
The Application Engineer will work as a Offshore Lead Developer in project and should be able to manage the project team members.
Skills and Experience
- Strong Experience in ETL Skills - SSIS 2012/2015, SQL Server 2012/2016, SSRS
- Familiar with version control tool Team Foundations Server 2015
- 8 to 11 years of technical experience with SSIS and SSRS skills and relational databases (Strong in SQL Server).
- Strong technical skills designing, developing, debugging, documenting, and implementing applications.
- Should have good experience in project development as a Lead role and must have involved in handling/managing the project team members.
- Strong communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Market Reporting Application SMEs, Product Owner and ensures all issues, queries from the team are resolved during the execution phase.
- One of the key team member responsible to ensure on time, on budget delivery across the Sprints and Releases.
- Knowledge of organizational structure of the firm to facilitate work with groups outside of the immediate technical team.
- Understand configuration requirements, enhancements, and new developments required in the target platform.
- Responsible for Design, Build, Functional Testing, System Testing and Integration Testing activities during the Sprints. Reviews Design, Build and Test artefacts created by the team.
- Develop, design, tune and maintain SSIS packages to perform the ETL process and generates reports using SSRS.
