Job Title Senior Audit Executive

Function Internal Audit
Job Purpose:
The role bearer has the responsibility to independently manage internal audits for the bank as assigned. It entails taking complete ownership of the process - creating checklists, conducting audits as per the defined timelines, publishing the audit reports and preparing for presentations to be conducted quarterly. The role bearer has to adhere by the guidelines set by the bank for audit reports - making the audit process more efficient contributing to the larger objectives of the bank.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Understand the Internal Audit environment to determine the and complexity of the processes systems, quality and data analysis requirements.
New initiatives: in consultation with the respective audit teams, identifies the opportunities for application of analytical tools across various business groups. For this purpose, the team will engage with the respective audit domains in identifying project opportunities and exploring feasibility of implementation.
Co-ordinating with Information Technology Group: Co-ordinating with Information Technology Group for understanding the availability of data with the required fields from respective reporting server.
Candidate with experience in banking function with familiarity to different products will be preferred. Understanding of basic programming techniques and advanced functionalities of excel will be an additional advantage.
Identification and defining triggers for new products and analysis of exceptions.
Conducting Analytics audit as per the Audit Plan and drafting report.
Ensure timely implementation of management actions recommended in the audit reports.
Documentation and maintenance of Audit work papers and timely of Management System.
Provide Audit Committee of the Board and the senior management with an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls
Candidate Profile
-Good communication skill with an eye for detail.
-Well versed with MS Office
-Stakeholder Management
-Project Management
-Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
-Ability to analyze data and identify exceptions / trends.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate / Chartered Accountant / MBA
