Responsibilities include but not limited to Develop Analog & mixed signal IP verification plan (VPLAN) including verification for Clocking IP ( Crystal Oscillator, PLL, DPLL, IRC) or Data Converter or Power Management IPs
Find design bugs/issues in Architecture/design of Analog/Mixed Signal IPs in terms of functional verification, robustness checks with latest verification methodologies UPF etc
Set Functional/Performance specifications of DA IP to achieve quality targets with System/SOC teams
Analysis & verification of test-modes & DFT strategy for analog MSIPs.
Support SOC Frontend & verification engineers for successful SOC integration of IPs
Participate regular peer to peer reviews and design reviews
Job Skills/Experience required: Around 5+ years hands-on experience in Analog MSIP design/verification.
Working experience of Phase Locked Loops (PLL), Crystal Oscillators (XOSC), bias generators, reference circuits, Low Drop-Out regulators (LDO), IRCs, high speed/general IOs, Data converters
Have exposure in ultra-low power design techniques (multi supply domain, power gating, clock gating)
Have know-how in interfaces to other domains (supply/power domain crossing) such as level shifter, isolation, analog test-bus etc.
- Testbench architecture, coding and good understanding of design issues in RTL
- Testbench generation, test vector creation, simulations, gate level simulations
- Hands-on with System Verilog and Assertion-based verification methodology
- At least 3 years of experience on HVL (System Verilog, Vera, Specman, E, VMM, OVM, UVM)
- Good knowledge of Verilog/VHDL/SV-UVM & Simulation Tools: NCSIM/ VCS/ ModelSim/ Questa
- Knowledge of RTL coding styles, Low power verification (UPF/CPF) would be an added plus
- Experience on System C would be an added plus
- Worked on protocols like AMBA AHB/AXI, MIPI, PCI Express, SATA, USB
- Knowledge of Tcl and Perl scripting.
Qualification Education: BE/B.Tech./ MS/M.Tech. ( Electronics or Electronics & Communication)
