Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
JOB TITLE: PURCHASE COORDINATOR
Location : Industrial Area, Doddaballapur
Please note, candidates should be near to Bangalore and should be ready to join within 30 days from the date of selection.
Candidates should be able to handle the activities independently.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- DME with 5-8 years of experience in Sourcing and Supply Management.
- Age below 30 years
- Should be well versed with purchase and Sourcing of engineering items.
- Awareness in process planning, production planning, daily scheduling and Vendor Management processes.
- Experience in purchase management in manufacture of Engineering items or Aerospace components or machined components etc., and quality standards and requirements.
- Should have thorough knowledge and experience in supplier management and control.
- Hands on experience in Techno-commercial discussions and handling activities independently.
- Good negotiation skills
- Should have exposure to Imports terms and procedure.
- Good communication and presentation skills Verbal and written communication in English.
- Computer: ERP, MS Office
JOB DESCRIPTION
- 1. Identification of suppliers.
- 2. Supplier assessments, evaluation.
- 3. Negotiation with Suppliers
- 4. Enter into agreements - NDA documents with suppliers.
- 5. Making Annual contracts, and periodical renewal.
- 6. Supplier re-evaluation as per policy.
- 7. Forecast the items required and monitor regularly.
- 8. Fix and maintain stock levels for identified items.
- 9. Ensure supply of items as per PO terms. ( specification, Quality & Delivery )
- 10. If any deviations / rejections, Analyse the same & resolve the same with the suppliers.
- 11. Ensure no Production downtime due to material shortage and quality concerns from the suppliers.
- 12. Ensure proper import documentation and procedure.
- 13. Identify freight forwarding agency by considering price, fast process & clearance time ( Air & Sea )
- 14. Make sure the supplier payments are made as per PO terms.
- 15. Work towards cost reduction and maintain the record to assess quarterly savings.
- 16. Co-ordinate with other process owners for timely support.
