Qualification:- ANM/GNM/Bsc. Nursing

Job description

Provides culturally appropriate care to the patient.
Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Takes handover from the outgoing staff based on the allotment of patients.
Takes inventory of the area instruments and articles as per the responsibility allotted by the Lead Nurse specialist.
Reports to the Lead Nurse Specialist/ Specialist or Senior Nurse Executive problem faced in caring and safety of the patients.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, such as ventilators and other biomedical equipment used for the care of the patients.
Prepares administers and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments as per hospital policy (High-risk High Alert/LASA medication, Narcotic Policy and Verbal order policy)
Assists treating consultant during an examination, treatment and procedures.
Analyzes lab results and reports as required to the concerned authority for faster treatment.
Provides education, information and emotional support to the patient's family and caregivers based on the disease condition.
Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms as per the protocol of the hospital.
