General Overview : We are looking for a Scrum Master to coordinate our software development team. This role works with multiple development partners to build scalable software and to module development lifecycle processes.

Experience : 7-12 years

Notice Period : Immediate - 30 days.

Location: Chennai

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of the scrum team in Agile methodology.
• Responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
• Arranged daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation processes.
• Needs to forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source.
• Help team or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
• Helps product owners to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.

Competencies

• 6+ years scrum master experience in any well-known software environment
• Jira/Confluence experience
• He should have knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
• knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand his team needs.
• Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
• Ability to take and understand his commitment to deliver the product on time.
• Needs to be expert in estimation and planning
• Ability to track and remove impediments.
• Possesses conflict resolution, does conversation by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Should be a friendly communicative person
