We have an urgent opening for Cloud Engineer - (GoLang/Java/Python, Kafka, Kinesis) - Pune/Remote Working

Roles and Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are looking to hire a cloud engineer focused on helping develop our next-generation EDR platform. You will be a part of the Platform group and help build the systems that ingest third party data into the platform at petabyte scale. The team has one of the most critical roles to play in ensuring our products are best-in-class in the industry. You will interact with product managers and other engineers in building both internal and external facing services.

You will:

• Help define, build, and maintain our next generation EDR platform processing Petabytes of data
• Work with industry-leading technologies like Kafka, Elastic Search and Cassandra.
• Work on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projects
• Troubleshoot critical production issues

Key Qualifications:

You have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• 9+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with event stream platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
• Experience with NoSQL and Relational DBs
• Hands on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimization
• Experience in building data platforms at scale (Note: We process over 1 Trillion events per week)
• GoLang/Java/Python skills with strong debugging skills
• Operational experience in the tuning of clusters for optimal data processing
• Experience working in Linux

Bonus points awarded if you have:

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes based development and orchestration.
• Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)
• Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
