JOB PROFILE-Complete local and international Procurement of Consumable, Capital Equipments,
Good expertise for Construction items TMT bar, Cement, concrete, Bricks & contractors agreement or Job Work etc.
Keeping track of indents & supplies, Monitoring stock, consumption & requirement.
Monitoring supplier performance for conformance to commercial terms, monitoring activities by Engineering and other in-house functions to ensure compliance with the order terms, initiating follow-up actions with the supplier or in-house functional group to
ensure performance in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
Receive quotations from vendors and coordinate with users for technical evaluation, coordinate for site visits to vendor facilities for Health Safety and Environment inspection.
Vendor Development, identification of potential Vendors, Vendor Registrations Process, Quotation follow up and audit of vendors.
Circulation of RFQs to clients approved vendor, preparation of Recommendation, comparatives, taking PO approval & doing PO Amendment whenever requires.
Informs the General Manager of forthcoming negotiations & prepare comparatives. Conducts negotiations involving engineering representative whenever requires.
Monitors return of order acknowledgement. Conducts claim negotiations with the assistance of contract manager whenever requires.
Managing process for rate contracts from request through to renewals/ renegotiations.
Generation of LC requests, Work with Finance for Opening Sight and Usance period LC, Advance payment, coordination with account for payments of vendors as per terms.
Techno Commercial negotiating and Finalizing service agreements with reliable contractors for execution of servicing works as per budgeted parameters.
Knowledge about taxation &Incoterms.
Goods receipt and invoice verification.
Mail communicating with overseas Suppliers for the shipments arranging.
Achieved to get the maximum credit period for the company and lead-time reduction.
Achieved reductions in cost of the materials procured through higher negotiation skills and adapting cost comparison sheets, vendor ratings there by creating competition between vendors & enhancing the profit of the company.
