Client Company: Progressive Pharma Topical Development & Mfg. Co.
Positions: Sr. Manager (Head) - EXIM ( Supply Chain)
Reporting to: GM - SCM
Direct Reportees: 10 members
Job Location: Andheri, Mumbai
Job Profile:
- Identification, negotiation & managing relationships with Logistics providers, Clearing Agencies.
- Ensuring closure of all open Licenses in a timely manner & managing the reconciliation, opening & application process.
- Preparation, Submission and Redemption & Waiver for Advance License, EPCG, Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS), Services, Exports from India Scheme (SEIS) etc ( All duty remission schemes).
- Handling team members involved in coordination with Logistics providers, Plant team, etc for import and export of materials.
- Conducting various training programs, knowledge sharing sessions for team members and other stakeholders within the organization on Exim documentation, procedures and formalities.
- Cross Functional Coordination with: All departments of the company like Plant Dispatch, Purchase, Finance, Strategy & Commercial, Planning etc
- Sound knowledge about EXIM alongwith being aware of changes in Regulations which impact Export / Import operations.
- Knowledge of SAP would also be a precursor for this role
Desired Profile:
- Any Graduate with 10 to 15 yrs experience in related field from any manufacturing industry but would be preferred from Pharmaceuticals / Biotech / Chemicals industry.
- Sound background on the EXIM front who has handled Imports, Exports & Licensing in the past.
- Good Knowledge of logistics industry & service providers for Pharma products
- Sound Understanding of Advance Licenses, MEIS, MAI, etc duty benefit schemes which can be availed
- Knowledge and Hands-on work experience on licensing is must.
- Exposure in MEIS & SEIS Applications.
- Good knowledge of foreign trade policy.
- SAP knowledge is good to have/not mandatory
- Team Handling experience is must.
- Pharma, Manufacturing to be preferred
- Excellent Communication skills, Presentation skills, Negotiation skills, Attention to details, Problem Solving Approach.
- Team Management.
