Job Description
Our Server Solutions Group is searching for an energetic passionate and process oriented Emulation Engineers Hardware emulation has become an indispensable validation tool for large and complex SoC targeting data center networking AI and super computers
Here is an opportunity to participate in leading edge validation technology emulationIn this capacity you will work with cross functional team RTL Val Verification Emulation Transactor BIOS microcode emulation test teams and emulation tools vendors to define and execute emulation model build and bringup You will work the multiple stakeholders to define emulation platform requirements understand microarchitecture and architecture of SOC including processors NOC high speed memories security etc and also the emulation transactors Analyze the scope define build and bringup emulation models adapt and enhance the debug infrastructure which includes debug infrastructure development debug failures and ensure functionality as per specifications
Develops debug and test execution automation including memory preloaders collaterals and integrates it with the emulationFPGA model Bringup and debugs the emulation
FPGA model and collaterals Defines and develops new capabilities and HW SW tools to enable emulation FPGA model usability for preSilicon and postSilicon functional validation as well as SW development validation Develops improvements to usability by RTL validation and debugging of failing RTL and PostSi tests on the emulation platform Interfaces with presilicon Validation teams for adopting preSi validation environments test suites and methodologies for emulation efficiency Develops and applies automation aids flows and scripts in support of emulation ease of use and improvement of equipment utilization
As a senior member of the team would be able to handle multiple technical complexities and drive issues resolution at crossfunctional level
Qualifications:
BSEEBS Electronics with 12 years or MSEE with 10 years experience With hands on experience in following areas Emulator model builds and transactors Debug waveform and FSDB Computer and SOC Architecture Memory and IO technology
CCPython and shell scripting Zebu FPGA emulation Intel Architecture and System Verilog experience a plus
