Job Description
Our DPGs memory center of excellence aspiring to deeply understand our customers datacentric problems and solving them by rearchitecting the memory storage hierarchy around persistent memory 3DXP Responsibilities include enabling and validating new platform technologies 3DXPPMEM including key interconnects such as DDR PCIe PCI Express and CXL Compute Express Link etc We are looking for a capable DIMM Platform Validation and Debug Engineer with a thorough working knowledge of platform debug approaches to help us with our Platform validation efforts You will be responsible for the development creation on new test content execution of validation plans and debug of issues that ariseUses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec Responsible for the development of methodologies execution of validation plans and debug of failures Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture Design and Presilicon Validation teams in improving post silicon test content and providing feedback for future on die debug features You will help setup and config systems in the lab to enable testing and practical debug You will work with both internal and external validation teams You will bring your understanding of debug andor validation practices to help solve challenging platform issuesWe are looking for someone that will be hands on is comfortable getting in the lab and is interested in using state of the art debug and test equipment to help discover and drive resolution to key issues If you enjoy solving technical problems and like challenging yourself with leading edge technology we are interested in hearing from you
Qualifications
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position
Candidate must possess a Masters or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related discipline
6-15 years of validation or debug experience
Experience must also be inclusive of
1 Platform validation and or debug experience Intel Architecture and Server Platform experience
2 Familiarity with debug tools eg ITP protocol analyzers exercisers and or Logic analyzers etc
3 Must be willing to engage with external customers when needed
4 Experience with Python
Strong debug and problem Solving Skills
Linux kernel hands on development experience
Knowledge of Presilicon or Postsilicon Validation
Experience in Emulation
FPGA Virtual Platforms
