Lead Software Engineer - Hyderabad @ Dun & Bradstreet

The Role: The Lead Full Stack Engineer is responsible for the architecture, development and support of DB applications solutions as well as leading the teams that build them. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers responsible for the creation of web platforms, apis, shared libraries and other codebases associated with our Data Supply Chain Systems.

• Work with product owners and other technologists to understand desired initiatives and design and lead the implementation of simple and elegant solutions enabling those initiatives.

• Shape and continuously improve our software engineering practices

• Own the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of our solutions

• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

• Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity Key Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or any equivalent degree

• At least 8 years of experience in Software Engineering

• Significant knowledge of and multiple years working experience with multiple high level languages: C/C++, Java, Python, etc.

• Familiarity with a component-based front-end (JS) framework (e.g. Angular/Vue/React)

• Familiarity with node.js (or equivalent)

• At least 6 year of experience working with databases of various types (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, HBase, Neo4j, etc.)

• Familiarity with data wrangling tools a plus.

• Appreciation for performance and experience with optimization

• Experience taking part in code reviews and providing concise and helpful feedback

• Passion for learning new techniques and technologies

• Experience with CSS pre/post processing (e.g. SASS/Less/Stylus) a plus

• Team player able to act as a multiplier

• Experience with working in an agile environment (e.g. Scrum/Kanban)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• A passion for unit testing.

• Ability to craft new, reusable design patterns when appropriate

• Ability to work well in a team/collaborative environment

• Ability to adhere to style standards, established design patterns and styles
