Lead / Senior Software QA Engineer @ Emerson Innovation

Job Description

• We are looking for a passionate, fully hands-on Software Quality Assurance engineer who is having expertise in test automation and manual testing (if required) , of full stack application.
• This position is based at Emerson Innovation Center - Pune and offers working independently and in coordination with Solution Architect, SMEs and product manager to understand requirements and to test full stack application which will run in desktop as well as in cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance activities for C# .NET Core based Full Stack Application which involves Microservices architecture-based Web Application, Windows Service, REST API and Database etc.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute test automation scripts using open source tools or industry standard tools. Experience in test automation tool Selenium preferred .
• Plan and execute performance and software cyber security tests
• Identify, record and track bugs and quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Basic Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Master s degree (M.E / M.Tech) in Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation or related discipline
• Master s in computer science (M Sc., MCS, MCA)

Experience

• 5-8 years in Software Quality Assurance activities
• Relevant minimum 3 years experience in Test Automation
• Relevant minimum 1-year experience in Testing Microservices based Full Stack Application(s)
