Job Description

Appsthings is an IT software development company found in Hong Kong, currently we clients are mainly from HK, China, US, UK & Europe. In order to cater rapid business growth of Web, Mobile Apps from clients.

Currently we are looking for energetic talent(s) who has min. at least 2-4 years in Project Management, Team management, Engineering and Clients Support.


The candidate(s) must be highly self-driven, strong analytic mindset, articulate in English who can deliver role duties in transparent and responsible manner via rapid responsive communication among internal & external parties, therefore, this is NOT a chilling home-based position.


Roles and Responsibilities

Role Duties

  • Design & develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements needed from clients, HK teams and coordinate with external vendors.
  • Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation.
  • Leading participation in the development of strategies, processes and resources.
  • Manages project schedule and task details by utilising project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.
  • Be accountable for delivering against established business goals, objectives and timelines.
  • Develop and lead new programs to support the strategic expansion of the organisation.
  • Conduct regular meeting with HK team/clients for progress reporting, suggestion & risk evaluation.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status and effectively communicate and manager clients expectations throughout throughout the development life cycle.
  • Able to identify risks in project development and advise alternatives & solution ahead.
  • Directly communication with client side to collect feedbacks in order to deliver rapid remedy or support by coordinating with HK sales team & domestic vendors.
  • Daily short email report & weekly duty report via conference to HK branch head.

Adhoc Tasks

  • Travel for business meeting domestically may be required <10%
  • Business negotiation participation
  • Small scale fixes shall be solely conducted.
  • Lead & handle communicate among external clients & vendors.
  • Other business or project related Adhoc maybe required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Highly self-driven attitude & be extremely reliable are the keys of the role.
  • 4 Years + exp. as developer in web, mobile apps.
  • Lead experience in deployment, data migration & environments.
  • Able to work under deadline and pressure.
  • Excellent communicate skills in fluent written & spoken English.
  • Excellent understanding of controlling and managing budgets, resource management and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of standard Project Management methodologies.
  • Proven experience in program management.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing a team, able to mentor, guide them to ensure effective execution
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience and knowledge in photoshop, AI is a plus.
