Job Summary

• Experience 4 -8 years of hands on experience in Software Testing

Educational Qualification

• BE/BTech/MCA/MTech degree or comparable demonstrated work experience.
• Utilizing Microsoft ALM solution (MTM, Visual Studio, C#, TFS) develops an automation framework to enable testing of .NET n-tiered systems and applications by the organization
• Can create automation framework to test at multiple application layers including web,services and database.
• Develop new methods and extend existing Microsoft ALM solution (MTM, Visual Studio, C#, TFS) framework for automated testing.
• Works with Software Engineering team to identify opportunities for the use of automated tests, tools and test harnesses.
• Contributes to the evolution of automated testing tools and framework.
• Works with TOSCA Automation tool to automate functional TCs.

Required Skill Set

• A minimum 3 years of Automation experience using script based automation tool such as CodedUI, Selenium with C# as scripting language or non-script based automation tool such as TOSCA .
• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft ALM solution (MTM, Visual Studio, C#, TFS)
• Experience coding Unit Tests/Integration Tests/System Tests/Regression Tests and test execution in an automation framework.
• Participation in and conduct Code Reviews give valuable inputs for code improvement/optimization.
• Good Knowledge of My SQL and ability to write complex queries.
• Experience working with large scale RDBMS
• Develops automated scripts using C# to increase support efficiency
• Proficiency with web technologies and data structures - HTML, CSS, XML, DOM
• Understands Agile Methodologies
• Analysis of business requirements
• Very Good verbal and written communications skills, and able to communicate very technical subject matter to non-technical users

Pluses

• Experience with TOSCA Test Suite
• Experience in automated testing of healthcare software system.
• TOSCA Certified
• Troubleshooting and recovery of MS SQL
• Experience using Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Team Manager for Test Management.
