• Taking your place as a core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices
• Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation
• Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies
• Leading a team of engineers that delivers knowledge management solutions to businesses worldwide
• Delivering features, services, components for travel ecosystem that touches millions of customers across the globe
• Function as a leader on an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
• Lead code reviews and automated testing
• Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation
• Leads the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments.
• Automate deployments in test or production environments
• Automatically scale applications based on demand projections

• Bachelors Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.

• 5+ years of software development experience in a professional environment

• Wide breath of engineering experience

• Proven experience leading teams of engineers

• Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing

• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases

• Experience with Java/Springboot for the backend and React.js/Angular.js on the frontend

• Prior experience in the Travel domain and/or Sabre would be a big plus

• Excellent oral and written communication and documentation abilities

• Comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth environment

• You know and can admit when something is not great. You can recognize that something youve done needs improvement
