Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, application design, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Performs feasibility analysis and technology tradeoffs within the constraints of the project.
- Serves as a subject matter expert.
- Confident and willing to challenge a customer and guide them towards an appropriate solution that meets their needs while maintaining the scalability, maintainability of the instance.
- Ability to guide the Product Owner and the Development team towards creative uses of standard features to meet business requirements instead of simply relying on custom code solutions.
- Participates actively in discussions, builds a reputation as a go-to resource for toughest problems. Provides constructive feedback to product teams.
- Understands platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations.
- Train other development resources on Salesforce development practices as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce in Developer, Administrator or Architect capacity.
- One or more Salesforce Certifications highly preferred.
- Strong with configuration, customization, programming with Apex APIs, Apex Triggers, Workflows with actions, Approval Processes, Reports & Dashboards.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures and limitations is required.
- Experience with at least full life cycle implementations on Salesforce.com with 500+ user licenses
- SOQL and intermediate knowledge of Oracle database would be helpful.
- Development experience with Restful web services and SOA strongly desired
- Strong knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies, design and architectural patterns.
- Creative problem solving skills and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work with minimal direct guidance, self-motivated and proactive
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Some knowledge in the Commercial Real Estate industry.
