Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties1. Work directly with the DevOps team to test system integrity
2. Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
3. Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
4. Handle code deployments in all environments
5. Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
6. Provide technical guidance and educate team members and co-workers on development and operations
7. Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
8. Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
9. Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects
10. Manage CI and CD tools with team
11. Implementing and monitoring security layers
12. Should be able to communicate the RCA of outages and planned maintenance windows with stakeholders
13. Document and design various processes; update existing processes
14. Improve infrastructure development and application development
15. Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company
Experience and Qualifications
1. 7-10+ years track record of relevant work experience
2. Adequate experience in AWS and Azure cloud services
3. Should have hands on and good understanding on DevOps tools and automation framework
4. Demonstrated hands-on experience with DevOps techniques building continuous integration solutions using Jenkins, Docker, Git, Maven
5. Must have experience in configuration management tool such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
6. Experience with Kubernetes and other container management solutions
7. Experience with CICD tools.
8. Must be proficient in one or more scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python
9. Working experience in cloud computing, PaaS, IaaS, and related areas are highly desirable
10. Knowledge and experience with Linux OS
11. Experience coaching junior members in the team
