Summary

We are currently looking for an experienced professional to support us with localizing our solutions for India, with a focus on Taxes, such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tac Collected at Source (TCS), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and others.
The Role
Work in a very international team: SAP s Globalization Product Management (GPM) enables SAP s customers to run a global solution that meets their local/country specific needs
Define the product by synthesizing requirements, creating user stories, and prioritizing features
Collect and incorporate end-to-end feedback from customers and relevant stakeholders
Be a global contact point and trusted advisor for localization, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, the GPM community, and other SAP stakeholders
Monitor and interpret tax legislation, in close collaboration with other Localization Product Managers
Participate in roadmap planning, SAP ecosystem enablement, and go-to-market activities
Support the development teams in design and testing
Engage with User Groups and actively participate in customer facing events
Respond to customer requests and incidents, when required, by providing domain knowledge
Role Requirements
More than 8-11 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a distributed, multi-cultural, global team
Bachelor s or Master s Degree
Deep knowledge of taxation in India
Experience with managing regulatory requirements in a software environment
Experience with SAP solutions
Ability to capture and productize customer and partner requirements
Experience with defining and/or developing software products
Fluent in English
Technology or business consulting background preferred
Customer focused
Enthusiasm for taking initiative and ability to work independently
Ability to think creatively and champion new ideas
Excellent communication, presentation, and team skills
Ability to manage expectations of different stakeholder communities, including customers and partners
