Business Systems Analysis Senior Specialist @ NTT Data

Job Roles & Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis

• Gathering requirements and involving in preparing the business requirement document
• Analysis of the requirement document and bringing an efficient solution with respect to cost and time considering the future need of the business
• Preparation of the detailed Functional specification with the business flow involved

1. Product Setup

• Involvement in the product launch of Life Insurance products like Encore Advance, Trustguard and Annuity products like SecureFore, Forecare using the blueprint provided by Product Development Team from Business
• Working on highly complex test cases to test the various features of the new product and checking the System behaviour for any changes in the existing product
• Working on compliance and regulation changes which includes System set up and Testing

1. Estimation

• Providing estimates for the Business Analysts activities for the upcoming projects like analysis of the existing business functionality, impact analysis, database set up required to support the programming and testing. Estimation would be provided based on the high level requirement mentioned in the Project Initiation Document

1. Gap Analysis

• Interaction with the business users in order to identify the business flow of the various channels under the NTT DATA client
• Interaction with the users to pinpoint the issues in the existing system and providing gap analysis and solution for the enhancements, specifically in Ingenium system
• Closely working with the end users of various reporting tools and providing them constant support on any issues

1. Support to Development and Testing Team

• Providing constant support and coordination between business users and Development and testing team ensuring the deliverables have no time delay and are error free
• Reviewing the test cases and results executed by the testing team
• Providing high level guidance to create the technical design document
• Supporting the testing team and helping them understand the underlying Business requirement

1. User support

• Providing user support, analysing and extracting the reports of the details requested by the business users
• Debugging the root cause of various issues reported by the users
• Working on creating a work-around or operational procedures so Business can continue even with the issues identified until they are fixed permanently in the system

Required Skills

• Minimum experience of 3 -5 years as a Business AnalystSystem Analyst
• Expert knowledge in Life Insurance and Annuities is a must with knnowledge on Ingenium Tool
• Having technical background or open attitude to learn the technical details of the system is preferred
• Good knowledge in SQL
• Excellent Oral and written communication
• Certifications under Insurance domain is a plus
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Visio
• Experience in user accepting test cases execution is desirable
