Job Description
o As part of Performance Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and running scripts with various performance testing tools like LoadRunner and NeoLoad, evaluate the results, system performance, evaluate bottle necks in application under performance test and generate reports.
o Using your knowledge of web-based, client and server applications, databases, operating systems and computer hardware you will work with performance engineers to create test scripts, run performance tests, analyze performance bottlenecks using APM tools like DynaTrace and provide a summary of performance issues and suggestions for improvement.
o Work closely with product development teams to model new functionality, design tests and analyze performance results.
o You will be responsible for configuring hardware, operating systems and databases then properly initializing test scenarios, accurately and consistently running tests and collecting results in on organized manner and generate summary and detailed reports around performance of the system under test
o With minimal supervision, the candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be well organized
o Ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as have strong hands-on experience in a lab environment
o Exhibit logical troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills along with the ability to implement the performance testing process
Qualifications o 5-8 years of experience in performance engineering, including workload modelling, development and execution of performance testing, analysis & tuning
o Must have experience in Performance testing tools like LoadRunner, NeoLoad and APM tools like Dynatrace
o Must have experience in performance engineering for multi-tier web based applications, SAAS solutions
o Must have experience in profiling for application & database and APIs
o Experience in relational database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL
o Experience in configuring and debugging database for enterprise applications
o Must have hands-on experience in Linux
o Good to have programming knowledge and experience, preferably in Java
