Job Description
To maintain SAAS based all engineering environments, infrastructure, central automations and systems including shared services deployments, upgrades, maintenance and ensuring that there is 24/7/365 environment monitoring for events/alerts so that engineering environments are running effectively at all times
To develop &refine monitoring policies, processes, procedures in SAAS based application.
Good Exposure in supporting Saas based products and exposure to resiliency, high availability, scalable cloud products.
Focus towards improving the overall health of cloud services by identifying the gaps and taking it to closure
Understand the deployment automation and infrastructure to enhance deployment/central automation to improve engineering efficiency
Candidate is expected to insist on high standard deliverable from solution providers and to customers driving customer focus and customer obsession
To provide day to day operational management for the engineering teams. This role is an intensely operational and requires the incumbent to be conversant with the technologies like cloud, Tomcat. PostgreSQL, python, Java, Jenkins.
Actively monitor the application & infrastructure in engineering environments
Reactively resolve any incidents that occur and ensure these are responded to promptly, professionally and within agreed SLAs
Qualifications Bachelor degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5 - 7 years of experience in a leading Enterprise for environment involving a geographically distributed support model.
Knowledge of public cloud (AWS, Google)
Working Knowledge of Linux OS
Working Knowledge of Postgresql or SQL Server database
Excellent Debugging / Troubleshooting skills
Experience in development Tools like GIT(Stash), Jira, Confluence, VersionOne, Artifactory, Gradle, Grunt will be preferred
Familiarity with Java build tools - Gradle, ant, maven
