• Craft publications that explain the companys products to its customers and internal audience and allow full use of its functionality.
• Ensure that documentation meets industry standards of quality, usability and format using writing expertise and product knowledge.
• Assume full responsibility for all official documents of product applications and create and maintain the applications documentation and/or training framework, as well as the content of its publications.
• Continuously gain knowledge of products new functionality via attendance at Design Review, Focus Team, Opportunity Team, and Scrum meetings as well as reading design documents, interviewing SMEs and using the product itself. Use this knowledge to independently create new version documents
• Estimate time and effort required for documentation tasks and contribute to documentation plans.
• Conduct peer-review on documentation for other members of the Technical Publications team.

All you need is.

• Bachelors Degree (full-time)
• 4 years of experience in technical writing or other relevant subject.
• Familiarity with and excellent knowledge of at least one authoring tool.
• Structured authoring experience such as DITA XML a preference.
• Knowledge of technical and business aspects of software development.
• Prior experience in programming or technical knowledge.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment a preference.
• Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 years experience writing software, application, or similar technical documentation
• Ability to comprehend technical information and explain it to audiences of varying knowledge and skill
• Experience interviewing and obtaining product information from subject matter experts, as well as performing independent technical research and discovery
• Experience working with document templates and troubleshooting issues with typical documentation authoring tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
