Job Description
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Administration and use of Software CM tools, specifically:
- Subversion
- Github
- Jenkins
- Defect management tools (e.g. Jira)
- Execution of manual and automated tests
- Performance testing and tools on Windows operating systems
- Structured testing methods and techniques
- Scripting automated tests cases & Continuous Integration
- Recording and maintaining configuration records through the product lifecycle (mainline and branch)
- Maintenance and Continuous Improvement of CM processes and procedures
- Communicating with development team to ensure deliveries meets NCR CM standards
- Provide accurate CM status at daily team meetings
- Participate in ISO audits
- Planning and conducting testing of NCR's product software systems, subsystems, and components
- Applying test methodology, processes, procedures, standards and tools used by the team
- Performing volume, performance, memory leak and reliability testing
- Installing and configuring test environments including hardware and software components
- Recording and tracking all issues uncovered during requirements review or testing and follow through to resolution.
- Utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools for test cases and defects
- Applying good debugging and troubleshoot techniques to assist Developers with isolating defects and determining the solution within Windows platform environments
Basic Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Looking for minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Software CM tools and Integration testing.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Possess a bachelor s degree/ diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to organize and prioritize workload
- Be a highly motivated and positive team player
- Be a self-starter, able to work independently and demonstrate excellent influencing skills.
- Possess test qualifications (e.g. ISTQB)
- Prior knowledge of CEN XFS standard / NCR software is a distinct advantage
