Position - Python Developer / Sr Python Developer
Required experience min. 5+ Years
Job brief:
We are looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products.
Python Developer responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.
Ultimately, youll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Write and implement software solutions that integrate with different systems
- Identify and suggest ways of improving efficiency and functionality
- Come up with reusable code that is efficient and easily testable
- Participate in the development of software connected to asset management (or another core business)
- Development of middleware ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end and also development of a complex & secure data aggregation system
- Diagnose bugs and other issues in products
- Write and implement Low-Latency Applications
- Implement security and data protection
- Design and build scalable REST APIs
- Develop, test, tune for performance and deploy web services
- Work with product team to build innovative, robust, and easy-to-use features Collaborate with the team, optimize and refactor the back-end architecture
- Assess and prioritize feature requests
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development lifecycle
- Acquaintance with Python web stacks
- Acquaintance with version control systems
- Experience in best code deployment practices
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Experience of working on Object Relational Mapper libraries.
- You have good understanding of RESTful web services and micro-service architectures.
- Should be familiar with version control with GIT, BitBucket, SVN or similar
- Must have knowledge of Postgres/MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB database.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript / HTML5 / Reacts)
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
