Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
( Expected to lead a team that would be responsible for developing Sales Analytics Solutions for the client)
- People manager / IC engaged in developing predictive & prescriptive models ( primarily regression and classification techniques) using Machine learning techniques supporting a vast array of scenarios, specifically in the Sales and Revenue management domain
- Manage Stakeholder expectation effectively with zero escalations
- Mentor the existing team, identify the right trainings required and make sure the team and self stays up to date on the latest advances in the domain
Improve existing solutions and design bespoke solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
( 9 -10 Yrs developing Statistical / Machine Learning models and at least 3-4 years creating Analytics solutions for problems related to Sales & Revenue. )
- More than 10 years experience in developing Statistical / Machine Learning models and at least 3-4 years creating Analytics solutions for problems related to Sales & Revenue.
- Experience in stakeholder management in the analytics domain
- Should have managed a team that is engaged in developing predictive & prescriptive models using Machine learning techniques supporting a vast array of scenarios.
Presentation of solutions/ analysis to leadership/key stakeholders.
- Should have experience in working on biased data samples and techniques like SMOTE, Over-sampling and Under-Sampling
- Understanding and hands on model building using Cross-Sell / Up-sell / Market Basket Analysis/ RFM methodologies and in developing Machine Learning models
- Understanding of the different analytics techniques that can improve revenue.
Strong understanding of statistical techniques.
Technical Knowledge
- Highly Proficient in open source programming including Python or R
- Data visualization using POWER BI or any other visualization tool
- Experience in using tools like SAS, SPSS etc. would be ideal
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Good understanding of how solutions are implemented on cloud platforms like AWS / GCP/ Azure will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills.
Academics
Preferred MBA/ M.SC from Statistics / Economics / Mathematics, Graduate B-Tech / BE or B.Sc. in Statistics / Economics / Mathematics
