Job Title : Devops Engineer
Job Location : SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, Chennai
Experience : 3-5 Years
Notice Period: Immediate
Skill Required
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps and its related technologies
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps certification is an added advantage
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, Linux bash shell scripting is mandatory
- Experience installing and configuring Databases, PostgreSQL and Oracle
- You have experience in several of the below technologies:
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Packer and Helm Charts
- Terraform
- Containerized cloud deployments
- DevOps transformation
- Experience envisioning and architecting cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools & continuous integration
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices
- Worked in a DevOps organization with local and remote team members
- Demonstrated knowledge of build and deployment-related technologies
- Deployed mission-critical software enterprise solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Understanding of cloud security requirements
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities
- Be part of a team of engineers working to install, configure, and integrate our CLM solutions for customers across the Aviation, and Aerospace manufacturing industry
- Consult with team members and customers to ensure project success
- Understanding requirements
- Estimating your work timeline to manage your deliverables
- Employ Agile/Test Driven Development (TDD) best practices:
- Work with DevOps Lead to break down your assigned work
- Lead initiative(s) to develop/carry out organizational process improvements for DevOps and the adoption in our organization
- Configure build and deployments for multiple project teams to DEV, QA, and UAT environments
- Create and maintain deployment configurations for project teams and extend build scripts as required
- Focus on implementing automated tasks to replace existing manual software build and deployment tasks
- Track your work in JIRA or other task management software
- Implement AWS infrastructure deployment automation
- Mentor other DevOps team members for cross operational training
- Pay attention to details to thoroughly document and maintain detailed, accurate environment information
- Consult with Product Architects to resolve any DevOps deployment challenges with our product suite
