Job Description
Disseminate and Communicate EHS Policy, EHS Management System requirements to project personnel.
Provide necessary advice, information and support in the effective implementation of the EHS Management System requirements and EHS plan.
Update the EHS Plan to the requirements of the activities being carried out when there is a revision.
Plan and conduct Internal EHS training programs, initiate drive to promote EHS awareness and performance.
Carry out EHS inspection of Work Area, P&M Equipments & Machineries, etc. as per the IMS requirement & Complying with the safety standards as per IMS & client requirement.
Creating EHS awareness through Tool Box talks along with the site/section in charges.
Advice and co-ordinate with line management in preparing EHS Risk Assessment & SOP for new activities.
Conduct investigation of all incidents & near-misses and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
Organize EHS committee meeting and minute the proceeding for circulation & follow up action.
Advice and co-ordination of the implementation of work permit systems.
Plan procurement of PPES and safety devices and inspect before use as per laid down norms.
Report to CEHSM on all matters pertaining to status of EHS and promotional programme at project level.
Facilitate screening of workmen and conduct EHS induction.
Monitor administration of First Aid.
