Experienced Java Developer to join Aequalis in our Chennai tech hub as part of a young and energetic team building Java APIs.

What will you be doing?

The role involves working alongside stakeholders and designers to take requirements and transform them into working, deployable applications that will ultimately delight and surprise Aequalis customers.

Innovation and continuous improvement is an extremely important part of the role as well as being a role model to other team members and colleagues.

What were looking for:

• End-to-end software development lifecycle in Java
• Knowledge of Object Orientated Programming/Design and associated concepts.
• Hands on experience of RESTFul web services development and relevant industry standards
• Hands-on on developing applications using Java 8 / JEE
• Good experience of using Spring 4/5 and microservice development (including knowledge across Core Spring Framework, Spring Boot)
• Deep understanding of the importance of code quality and the tools that can help the development communities monitor and maintain quality (e.g. SonarQube)
• Java based frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, etc)
• Knowledge of CI/CD with Gitlab runner / Junit / Sonar or like combination
• Knowledge of high performance engineering
• Knowledge of secure coding
• Should have indulged in code review process, and code quality verification process and should be willing to establish the good coding practice in team
