Summary:
The S/4HANA Test Engineering unit is working to solve complex challenges towards achieving complete test automation for the mission critical ERP. We are on a journey towards developing intelligent solutions for smart testing with host of services, accelerating towards achieving industry first intelligent automation and extending to cover upgrade testing for customers. We have varied product expertise across SAP Products from legacy to S/4H Cloud. We are the enablers to achieve automation for SAP Intelligent Enterprise Scenarios including integration scenarios across SAP Cloud solutions. Performance Quality and Engineering team is completely responsible for ensuring product standard performance for all the deliverables in S4 HANA on Premise and Cloud applications. We are looking for outstanding Performance Test Engineers who will be a great influencer in the cloud application development world. Role:
- As an ideal candidate you will have worked in the Cloud industry and be comfortable embracing performance testing frameworks, performance monitoring tools, load generators, performance analysis techniques etc.
- Excellent ability to liaise with stakeholder groups architects, DBA s, developers, ops etc. to perform rroot cause analysis of Performance issues, collaboratively troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks
- Understand and Implement new Test Methodologies/Tools in Performance Testing for Enterprise Applications
- Report and track performance defects, Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities effectively
- Should be able to design, develop and implement test programs and test automation
- Good communication skills, team player and highly motivated individual
- Must be responsible for enhancing own technical skills
Role Requirements
- B. E / B. Tech / M. Tech / MS in computer science / MCA (fulltime)
- Knowledge in any two or more areas like SAP ABAP concepts, Debugging, SAP ABAP Performance Optimization techniques, SAP ABAP Performance tracing transaction STAD SAP Workload Business Transaction Analysis, ST05, SE30 / SAT, ST12 and performance issues analysis from the traces
- Should have good understanding of aspect of code quality and maintainability, programming methods and should be able to handle complex pieces of code for analysis.
- Knowledge on technology domain, system performance and data base
- Working knowledge of at least one HTTP load generation software (e.g. LoadRunner, WebLoad, JMeter)
- Strong experience in the performance testing of cloud applications and performance analysis on Hana/Fiori would be an added advantage.
- Experience with a scripting language such as JavaScript/Python/Ruby would be an added advantage
Work experience
- 5-8 years experience in software Development/ Testing especially in black box /Performance testing.
