SUMMARY
As part of Cloud & Lifecycle Management, the Software Logistics unit is highly focused on developing the industry-leading infrastructure and tools to support SAP Strategic products like Business Technology Platform, SAP S/4HANA and contributes to deliver Intelligent Enterprise Scenarios (IES).
With SAP moving towards the cloud, business continuity is important. SOI is a cloud-based tool responsible for importing customer changes seamlessly without downtime to achieve Business Continuity in a cloud environment
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Developer joining the Safe Online Import (SOI) OQ Team, with an agile mindset, with attitudes of respect, collaboration, focus on delivering value, and the ability to adapt to change.
ROLE:
- Work with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to develop and test the Content Lifecycle Management in Cloud and Lifecycle Management.
- Analyze requirements, propose, and author concepts, and efficient planning & execution of deliverables for the team.
- DevOps for SAP SOI Quality Management
- Handle customer/internal issues with speed & provide solutions with top quality.
- Requires intensive communication with customers, different stakeholders, and cooperation with other development teams.
- Focus on quality unit, functional, integration testing etc.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong educational qualifications (Engineering majors, MCA from reputed institutes) with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience with a strong technical background.
- Hands-on Coding Experience with JAVA/Python/shell script Jenkins pipeline development using Groovy
- Experience in developing Jenkins plugins
- Experience in Groovy (Developing custom steps using groovy)
- Experience in Maven and Jenkin tool
- Experience in creating CI and CD pipelines in Jenkins
- Scripting languages (e.g. Shell and/or Python)
- Goal-oriented with good communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
- Exposure to agile development methodologies like SCRUM would be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical & communication skills with strong commitment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Linux server administration & maintenance
- Hyper scalers (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services)
- SAP basis knowledge
- robot framework and keywords
