Senior Software Engineer Manager - Hyderabad @ Microsoft

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, organizational, and cultural leadership for the team
• Manage a team of 6-8 SW engineers. Lead the team to deliver on-time and high-quality solutions.
• Work closely with cross functional and peer teams across geography to plan and execute projects in accordance with set objectives and key results.
• Hire, coach and retain top & diverse talent.
• Strong Live Site focus.
• Ability to wear Individual Contributor hat if situation demands.

Basic Qualifications

• Total 8+ years of industry experience managing and developing large scale applications.
• 2+ years of managing team of software engineers.
• Programming experience in C OR C++ OR C# OR Java OR object-oriented programming
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or 3years of practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building complex distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of cloud development principles and patterns.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to work collaboratively across several teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep.
• Great curiosity and willingness to question.
