Job Description
Position: Power Plant Head
Job Location: Punjab & Haryana
Total Experience: 20 + Years
Age : 45 yrs to 52 yrs. Previous working experience as plant Head for 5 years shall be given preference.
Education Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from Govt. /Reputed College
Desirable : M.Tech/MBA
Industry : Only Power (Biomass Added Advantage )
Job Responsibilities:
Aspirants should have experience in Erection, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of - Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment, Machines etc.
- Plan, Organize, direct and run optimum day to day Operations.
- Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- OPERATION: Will be responsible for achieving - PLF, Heat rate, Efficiency of Boiler & Turbine, Aux. Consumption, Power Factor.
- MAINTENANCE: To ensure Effective Maintenance of predictive, Preventive, Repair, Shutdown & Breakdown.
- CHECKING: Equipment Conditions and Lubricants: Routine/Schedule, Shift, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and yearly.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure smooth operation of the plant.
- INTERNAL COMMUNICATION :Continuous interaction with Shift In charge, HOD Operation, HOD Maintenance Power Plant Manager, Other HOD and Executives, Engineers, Boiler Operators, Fitters, Technicians, Electricians, RO/DM. Chemists & Operators.
- Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees.
- Communicate with employees about performance expectations
- EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION: Customers, Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers, And Visitors.
- To ensure all statutory compliances of Plant.
- Liaising with Govt./Civic authorities.
- To maintain cordial relations with heads of the Panchayat of surrounding Villages.
- Also candidate must have good understanding of other business functions such as HR, finance,commercial and administration of plant.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous working experience as plant Head for 5 years shall be given preference.
