Job Opportunity For Embedded Engineer _Johnson Controls_Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Design real-time software
• Support existing software base
• Develop C, C++, C#, Visual Basic and Visual Studio
• Design, implement and test real-time software
• Debug new and existing designs using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic and protocol analyzers.
• Ability to read Electronic Schematics.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• 5+ years of experience developing Software in a team environment
• BSEE/BSCE or Computer Science from an accredited school
• Familiarity with TI C2000, TI MSP430, Kinetis, and NXP/Freescale DSC architectures
• Familiarity with MQX and TI-RTOS operating systems Linux is a bonus
• Experience with use of ADC, PWM and Input Capture for signal acquisition, generation and timing. TI eCap and ePWM a plus.
• Implement algorithms and procedures in C/C++ and assembly code.
• Perform timing analysis of, and further optimize, critical code segments to meet hard real-time constraints.
• Experience implementing, optimizing, and debugging algorithms on C28x DSPs and MSP430.
• Familiarity with basic control theory (PLL and PID controllers) a plus.
• Familiarity with communication interfaces/protocols: SPI, I2C, USB, RS232/RS485.
