Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, Service Delivery Manager

  1. Industry experience focusing on capital markets domain
  2. Program Management - Responsible for the co-ordination of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams, ensures smooth execution of offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality within the planned cost & schedule.
  3. People development - Responsible for developing, motivating, and providing leadership.
  4. Accountable for ensuring all project staffing and deliverables within time and budget.
  5. To manage client expectations and relationship.

Responsibilities
KEY FOCUS AREAS

1. Responsible for offshore program management, process optimization recruitment process, infrastructure, information security compliance.

2. Customer relationship management - meeting client expectation in quality and schedules, Engaging client with specific architectural roadmaps and overall IT strategy.

3. Provide technical and domain guidance to team.

4. Resource Utilization - people, hardware.

5. People Development - career growth, team building, people engagement.

6. Process Maturity in projects collectively.

7. Service Delivery Management - Ensuring project delivery to meet Client and Organizational goals.

8. Bring forth thought leadership to bring value addition to the client projects

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Risk Management

- Understands program/company Risk Mgmt. requirements and ensures compliance of the project team.

- To identify risk and provide mitigation plan.

Team Management

- Ensures resolution of issues related to resource and technical inputs.

- Monitors the performance of Managers/Team Leaders.

- Conducts annual performance review of the project team and prepares development plan for the team.

Recruiting

- To manpower planning and forecast.

- Participates in the organization recruitment program and team development.

Client Management

- Coordinates with client for project delivery related issues.

Project Management

- To estimate resource requirement for execution of the project.

- Timely staffing.

- Monitors progress of the project and take corrective actions when required.

- Timely and accurate reporting of the project progress to management.

- Oversees the monthly quality audits and process improvement.

Contribution to organization

- Estimation, Proposals, Client Presentation, Collaterals etc.

- BU level Defect Prevention.

- Implements & reviews process & improvement Initiatives.

- Participates in Monthly review and other organizational initiatives.

Service Delivery Management

- To define and own service delivery process for all groups

- Liaises with the client to establish and expected standards of service delivery

- Defines metrics for performance measurement

- Responsible for Process Optimization

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
B.Tech./M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of Capital Markets Domain
  • Prior experience in managing service delivery in a matrix environment.
