VMware /Windows Admin Skills.
- operate, debug and handle a VMware based VM Farm using components
- Should have documentation skill to build, update and lead user documentation on the VM Farm use cases and projects, including inventory management.
- Should have experience on VMware products and should be experienced in vSphere 5.x and 6.x suite of products.
- Regular support of VMware and windows environment by resolving the raised tickets.
- Remotely operate VMware suite of products (VI Client, vCenter Portal, Power CLI and so on) and should have basic skill to remotely operation other connected services and products like (RDP, SSH, ILO/iDRAC, VNC).
- Knowledge for integrating VMware products with other Third party products. (Active Directory integration, Monitoring tools like Nagios, HP and Dell servers and Workstations)
- Passion to learn related technologies with and outside VMware on virtualization and cloud computing.
- Should have an open mind to engage tasks and debug issues on first attempt and to explore technology and documents and internet for answers to fix issues.
- Basic idea on Network and storage would be an added advantage
- Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations including critical issues, status reports and resolving impediments. The person should have a technical capability to seek applications, implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the customer.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelors Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
