Job Description
In this role, candidate will be responsible for providing Application Enhancement services in a Java/Spring/Database environment during regular India hours from India location. Candidate will be working with SMEs, Business Analyst, module developers, Users and other Support functions for resolution of issues for Capital Market Client.
Additional responsibilities shall include engage with Client in requirement gathering, Status update on deliverables, UAT and be the key stakeholder in the overall engagement.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/ MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have prerequisites/ skills
- Core Java, Spring, Rest Services
- Good experience in usage of Data structures, Collections, Multi-Threading.
- Has understanding of Java 8+ and functional programming paradigms.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, motivation and zeal towards ownership of the code.
- Experience in development of Test Driven Development.
- Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale n-tier web applications.
- Good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
- Should have the ability to analyze, design, and develop complex, high throughput / low-latency applications
- Understanding of build tools like Gradle, CI-CD pipeline
- Understanding and working knowledge of know SQL and No-SQL/Document Based databases
- Grasp of scripting languages.
- Good at debugging/finding complex problems.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Database SQL
- Some exposure to the financial services industry is a plus
