Summary
The purpose of the Digital Supply Chain organization is to build global supply chain management (SCM) software and tools. These solutions help in getting customer-centric products to the market faster and at lesser costs.
SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) allows SAP customers around the world to meet future demand, profitably. Powered by SAP HANA in-memory technology, this public cloud-based solution combines sales and operations planning (S&OP), forecasting and demand, response and supply, demand-driven replenishment, and inventory planning. IBP offers powerful supply chain analytics, machine learning algorithms, what-if simulations, alerts, and more. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model according to the scrum methodology.
The Role
As a developer, you will be a vital contributor to the full software development lifecycle wherein you will design, implement, and test the functional increments within your responsibility. You would collaborate closely with colleagues inside and outside the team. Embracing methods for ensuring high quality in software development and maintenance would be one of your main goals. You will also support the team by assuming additional tasks of a technical or organizational nature, as required.
Role Requirements
4-7 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor or Master s degree in one of the following or related areas:
Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology
Excellent programming skills and experience in:
o SAP Fiori and ABAP Objects
o SQL, HTML5 or Java Script
o SAP development-related tools
o Web services development (OData)
Over and above the technical skills mentioned above we are looking for strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills together with good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with global teams across different time zones is expected. Domain Knowledge on SAP s Digital Supply Chain portfolio will be a plus.
