JD :
Configure, support and implement network architecture and solutions for APAC region and potentially for worldwide scope
Configure, support and debug operations of network as L3 assistance including after office-hours support for complex issues
Administrate cloud and regional office networks including firewalls, router & switches, wireless AP & controllers, VPN gateways, WAF, LTM, Azure application gateway and load-balancer as well as maintaining proper documentation such as network diagrams, configurations, procedures, standards etc.
Monitor and response to network incidents, remediate or highlight alerts as appropriate, such as network unreachable or high latency issue, intrusions, malware infections, etc. Support IT Service Incident Management.
Troubleshoot all kinds of network related issue, actively maintain and optimize current configuration, carry out proper administration and support regional requests of network & security.
Perform patch management on network equipment in regular and ad-hoc basis, report and remediate network weaknesses found.
Report on key compliance and operational metrics for network standards and security, take action to maintain compliance to network standards and policy, escalate non-compliance in a timely and effective manner.
Able to perform network configuration review and firewall policy review.
Able to simplify the firewall policy and standardize the configuration with keeping the same security level and identify the weakness in the configuration.
Able to work with Global team and align with them on the approaches and standards before declining it in APAC region
Develop, maintain and review SOP documents e.g. configuration standards, configuration procedure, troubleshooting procedures, testing plan/reports and network diagrams.
Develop and review the High-Level Design as well as Low Level Design.
Provide Network training to relevant stakeholder.
Be an L3 network support and expect for L2 network team and IT correspondents in APAC region when needed
Requirements
Degree in Computer-related discipline.
5+ years of experience in design/implement/maintain technical solutions for Network & Security
In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and relevant protocols is MANDATORY required; Knowledge in Microsoft/Linux server administration, application development and scripting is a plus.
Related industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CCIE/CISSP is a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of security frameworks and methodologies for controls, compliance and auditing NIST, ISO27001 is a plus
Network Skillsets:
o Strong understanding of network OSI layer and TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, TLS/SSL, SNMP/NTP/NetFlow, LDAP/RADIUS/TACACS+
o Hands-on experience with Cisco router/switches/wireless + NPS/ISE
o Hand-on experience with Checkpoint/Fortinet firewall/VPN
o Hand-on experience with F5 LTM/ASM/AWAF load balancers, Azure networking i.e. Application Gateway, Load-balanceretc.
o Knowledge with conducting network packet and malware analysis, incident/continuous response process, and network monitoring tools.
o Ability to review and improve current network security configuration, process and procedures.
o Ability to address complex network issue that require advanced debug and find the right solution
Other skillsets
o Fluent in English (Mandatory) and Mandarin (plus), good in communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and conduct self-research into network/security issue, standards, and products
o Good inter-personnel skill, highly self-motivated, autodidact, willingness to learn and do more.
