Job Description
Consultant DevOps Engineer, Operations
In this role, you will be responsible for implementation of strategic models and actions to enforce continual DevOps workflow across the business. We are looking for someone who has excellent technical and interpersonal skills to collaborate proactively with the team and contribute on improving the Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and DevOps infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment with global DevOps team for maximum understanding and performance
- Identify the local stakes that will benefit from digital levers
- Assist and enable Application onboarding to target continuous delivery platform
- Exercise Agile practices to provide right level transversal service to teams
- Propose and perform POC on new technical trends on Continuous Delivery and contribute in defining the standards
- Extend CD platform capabilities by writing custom plug-ins
- Transform and improve current practices to enhance team efficiency
- Lead organization level transformation activities
- Exhibit the excellent service postures and manage operations without escalation
- Closely work and collaborate with onsite counterparts and partners to track and cumulate expectations and deliverables
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- B.E. Computer Science / MCA
Preferred qualifications/skills
- Excellent hands-on skills on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Tools and practices (Git, GITHUB, BitBucket, GitLAB, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube)
- Extensive knowledge on Deployment Automation tools like Puppet, Ansible
- Demonstrated ability and experience in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting languages like Shell, Python, Groovy, Ansible
- Knowledge on IaaS, PaaS and Any of the Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, private cloud setup)
- Deep experience of containerization tools (Docker) and container orchestrators like Kubernetes
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good experience in working with transversal team, multi-cultural environment, and onshore-offshore model
- Significant experience in leading organization level transformations and initiatives
