Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst (Finance Data)
In this role, you will support the client s Finance technology team with sourcing data from various sub-legder applications servicing loans, leases, mortgages, deposits etc. to support various external financial reporting requirements like the quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K reports.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: discovering, profiling and mapping the data from existing sources and feeds into an enhanced data store
- Documenting the source-to-target flow of data, including any reference data lookups, formulae and data transformations
- Identifying conceptual business rules for detecting data inconsistencies and monitoring data quality
- Requirements management: Manage the solution, requirements scope and traceability, with an eye towards future reuse
- Validate the solution by reconciling key attributes to reference systems or authoritative reports
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in IT or Computer Science
- Proficiency with SQL (MS SQL Server), using SharePoint, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong functional knowledge in the commercial banking context (preferable)
- Sufficient technical knowledge to enable successful communication of the structured requirements to development professionals
