Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying opportunities for packaging development and planning, designing and implementing packaging development projects and initiatives.
- Ensure that packaging developed meets business needs Development of packaging material (Primary / Secondary/ Tertiary) for Soap /Liquid products after receiving complete input from marketing & Plant line trial its Transit report. This includes KLD's of packing material , MOC confirmation, and achieving OTF 90%
- Continuous updation of packaging material specifications and test methods. Renew Specification format and specs code System and specs upload in system
- work, control and report progress of packaging development to ensure that delivery is timely and cost effective Design packaging material for existing and new products in order to ensure maximum durability, safety and handling ease of products Continuously evaluate packaging effectiveness Ensure that packaging meets determined standards of quality Ensure that packaging developed meets business needs
- Responsible for initiation of ERP codes for Packaging materials.
- Responsible for preparation of Packaging material specifications, GTPs, STPs, Guidelines and SOPs.
- Responsible for preparation of BOMs, MPCs, and shipper labels.
- Responsible for checking of shade cards and print proofs for primary and secondary packaging materials.
- Troubleshooting and development activity related to Packaging.
- Responsible for handling of change control investigation, Ratifications, Authorization for corrections & other documents in the area.
- Responsible for Regulatory submission related to packaging development (Queries, Samples Etc.)
- Responsible for R&D and commercial Packaging development activities for manufacturing goals.
- Responsible to perform any other activity as directed by the Packaging Development Head or his Designee as and when required.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Candidate working in the Personal care and cosmetics industry having Diploma in Packaging & Development -- Indian Institute of packaging (IIP)
- Should have worked on plastic bottles(HDPE/PET), Tubes, Monocartons, metal containers, caps, glass jars, glass bottles etc.
- Experience - 5-6 years preferrably in Cosmetic/Ayurvedic Industry
- Good inter personal skills , stakeholders management , project management
Job Location : Noida
