THE ROLE
- SAP SuccessFactors Service Delivery and Operations (SDO) unit is responsible for operating and maintaining the HCM multi-cloud environment.
- As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be working on projects that will involve in public and private clouds where our SuccessFactors applications run.
- You will be collaborating with development, product management and release engineering teams to support multi-cloud initiatives across the globe.
- You will drive adoption of Cloud Architectures and help implement various SRE best practices.
Role Requirement
- BTech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience required.
- 12+ years experience in managing, deploying, developing and supporting large enterprise solutions in private and public clouds such as GCP, Azure and AWS.
- Hands-on experience with industry standard DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Dockers, Kubernetes, Consul, etc.)
- Experience deploying and managing massive scale monitoring of containerized solutions.
- Experience in designing and deploying systems to run at large scale and multi cloud environments across geographically distributed data centers.
- Devising an E2E Infrastructure validation strategy, to certify Operational readiness of new Public Cloud site builds
- Devising an overarching security strategy, work alongside engineering and security teams, providing solutions and advice on secure architecture, design, and implementation.
- Experience working in a containerized cloud environment.
- Troubleshooting skills in chef, docker, Kubernetes and other infrastructure providers like Azure, GCP.
- Advanced technical background of Linux based server operating systems
- Good understanding of IT security, OS hardening
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a technical focus
- Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenge.
