Qualification: BE/ Diploma- Mechanical
Exposure-
Customised Machine, Conventional Machine, Structural Machine, Machine tool/ SPM (Special Purpose Machine)
Manufacturing process
Heavy & Light Fabrication, Sheet metal parts- Punching , stamping, Curling, Bending, Hydroforming, Laser Cutting, Stress Relieving, machining, Surface Hardening, Induction hardening, Value Engineering, Value Analysis, Casting, Forming, Moulding, quenching,
Well versed with ERP, MS Office
Job Responsibility:
- Fabrication, Sheet Metal, Tool Room Report delays and issues (Vendor capacity full) if any,
- Expertise in Mechanical Drawing
- Ensure capacity of vendors and resources to undertake new projects
- Understand the project requirements through critical design release meetings
- Identify critical bought out and customised engg products
- Prioritise procurement, based on class A/B items and project plan
- Identify vendors, conduct vendor visits to check capability to deliver products in time
- Undertake new vendor development activity
- Finalise vendor and process, cost and time for Class A items.
- Finalise product specifications, quality standards and negotiate cost.
- Decide delivery schedules for critical components.
- Identify products that can be used as standard for future project & Raw material bought out.
- Monitor and review delivery schedules Update and change in priority on design components and act accordingly Create and update vendor data base continuously.
- Comply quality management systems Resolve issues highlighted
