Senior Software QA Engineer @ Kronos Incorporated

Job Description

UKG is hiring a software QA professional who would be accountable for the quality of the product by developing and executing test strategies to ensure quality service pack releases. The candidate must demonstrate good analytical abilities, attention to detail and verbal & written English communication skill.
Ensuring proper functionality and performance of a wide variety of applications and platforms
Successful candidates will be experienced in modern test methodologies and processes executed throughout the software development life cycle and have a proven track record as an individual contributor in a small Agile team environment
A demonstrated ability to deliver quality product releases on schedule using risk analysis and defect containment practices, test automation and continuous improvement initiatives are key to this position
Technical guiding, mentoring & leading the junior members in the team
Providing technical expertise to the projects
Growing the technical knowledge & expertise of the team
Responsible & accountable for the quality of the product for the project
Qualifications 3-5 years of IT experience working with product companies/top tier service organizations
Good knowledge of test design techniques and test case reviews
Good experience in SQL server/any database
Experience in software test automation tools like Selenium using frameworks and descriptive programming
Experience in cloud testing, resiliency testing, fault tolerance testing, Disaster Recovery
Good experience in test management tools like ALM, JIRA
Good at problem-solving with excellent documentation and communication skills
Process-oriented with high attention to detail and good follow-through
Experience in testing using various windows environments
