Job Description
We are looking for AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate. Someone who can maintain and assist in managing the entire IT infrastructure. Rack and stack server and storage hardware in the datacenter; perform analysis, diagnostics and problem resolution. Drive resolution of issues identified via application and systems monitoring, as well as assigned tasks and incident tickets. Document processes, automation scripts, and infrastructure assets. Actively engage and assist other departments at Prospecta with technical computing requirements. Participate in the on-call rotation supporting the IT infrastructure.
Competencies Required:
- Should be proactive in understanding the requirement.
- At least 1.5-4 years of Experience with strong experience building and maintaining production systems on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, Cloud Formation, VPC etc.
- Experience with LINUX and Windows compute environments
- Good experience on Powershell/Bash scripting/
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues across multiple complex systems and propose and implement new solutions
- Has built, managed highly scalable and redundant applications and environment using load balancers, nginx, https, database caching,
- Experience in migration from On-Prem to Public Cloud
- Should have knowledge on different migration methodologies
- SSL/TLS Certificate fundamentals
- Experience with CD/Jenkins and other DevOps Tools.
- Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment. Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux systems
- Experience with RDBMS MSSQL
- Experience with log aggregation tools.
- Organised enough to think through the use cases that a software system needs in order to account for questions developers might have in the design process
- Ability to multi task under time sensitive environments and meet deadlines
- Should be a team player, communicator and facilitator and enjoy working with others to solve complex problems
- Willing to work on 24/7 Rotational Shifts
