Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Analyze potential development sites and evaluate associated development/renovation schemes.
Direct activities with architects, engineers, and other consultants to plan projects related to site permits, pre-construction due diligence and ongoing construction activities.
Strategic project planning and execution for multiple development opportunities and/or existing property renovation scenarios.
Secure where necessary all regulatory site use entitlements, requisite jurisdictional site plan approvals and permits required to proceed with development.
Comprehensively manage design processes including project master planning, civil engineering, architecture, geotechnical, environmental, lighting, landscape and procurement efforts.
Create and manage development schedules and work with coordinators to provide accurate cost reporting and tracking to ownership.
Develop internal reporting procedures related to development/construction activities.
Recruit, manage and continuously upskill your global Projects team.
Assist in business activities and ad hoc projects when required.
Job Requirements

Knowledge of construction, project management and real estate development.
Experience in scoping, cost-estimating, budgeting, scheduling and organizing large multi-functional teams (project managers, architects, contractors, consultants and vendors).
Knowledge of Physical Condition Assessments and Environmental Site Assessments. Must be able to determine and assess associated risk and prepare summary level information for use.
Familiarity and project experience with global hospitality and F&B brands.
Experience in negotiating construction, contract formats, vendor and similar agreements and contract monitoring.
Familiarity with hotel assets requiring take-over, redevelopment, and repositioning.
Must have strategic business sense and demonstrate the ability to analyze and reorganize business processes, gant charts, and vendor relationships.
Experience managing multiple global complex projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports in a timely manner.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability work closely with team members and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects required.
Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.
