Experience: 5+ years
Location: Pune|Chennai|Coimbatore(WFH Permanently)!
Education: Any Graduate
Working Days: Monday to Friday(5 days working)

The company is the leading technology solution provider for casting and auditioning to the entertainment industry. Our software is used by thousands of casting directors in Hollywood and other places across the world on a daily basis. More than 1.2 million performers have used us to schedule 14 million auditions since 2002. Were looking for a talented QA Engineer to help us to bring the quality of our products to a new level.
Responsibilities:
Work with QA lead/Manager to establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Develop and execute test cases, plans, and procedures for web application on desktop and mobile
Automate sprint level user stories and execute the script to verify all test cases
Test both Front end UI and Backend services
Test web applications over various browsers and devices
Verify API responses and Database to perform thorough end to end testing
Participate in regression testing activities
Plan test cases for projects before development
Work with Developers and Product Owners to test features and efficiencies
Participate in architecture reviews and feature/user story elaboration when needed
Proactively participate in Agile ceremonies
Requirements:
Good written and verbal communication skills (strong English)
Minimum of 5 years experience as QA Engineer (both manual and automation)
2+ Experience with CucumberJS, WebdriverIO, Mocha, Chai and other JS based testing frameworks, as well as understanding of common design patterns in test automation such as Page objects, Singleton, Builders
2+ years of experience in working with team members across multiple time zones (GMT, IST, PST)
Experience troubleshooting issues and identifying the root cause and writing easy to reproduce tickets in tools like Jira
Experience with CI tools (preferably Jenkins)
Knowledge with application UI (React), API (GraphQL) automation testing tools, BDD automation tools, and automation technologies
5+ years of experience with cross-browser testing (preferably using some cloud-based tools)
Basic knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of JavaScript or other programming languages
Strong manual website testing experience
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
Ability to provide technical help/guidance to other QA team members Nice-to-have:
Experience as a QA architect
Experience in the testing native mobile app (ios, android)
Experience in release management
Experience with using log management tools (e.g. LogDNA)
